The single issue that more people in this district are facing, either directly or indirectly, is the Opioid Crisis.
I plan to bring together “Action Groups” composed of stakeholders (law enforcement, healthcare and mental healthcare professionals, faith-based leaders, community leaders, victims, and others) in order to come up with meaningful and actionable solutions. The answer often does not come from the federal government but from within the communities. The key is bringing everyone together, building a consensus and then taking unified action.
